The Triple Lion shield secures Triple Lion Knights against attack from hostile knights and highwaymen. Due to the moral heritage of the golden lions, a Triple Lion Knight will always start by seeking a peaceful solution to any conflict and the shield is, therefore, essential and a sign of good character. A golden-coated Triple Lion symbol embellishes the royal blue shield and the edges of the shield are inspired by the castle. The shield is additionally decorated with real sapphires.
